Website and accounts

This website presents DineLumen and allows restaurant owners to request information or apply for a restaurant workspace. New applicants must provide their legal company details, company tax or registration number, restaurant street address, contact phone and a public restaurant website or listing, and declare that they own the restaurant and are authorised to register its company. DineLumen reviews the company details and ownership before granting access. A tax-number check alone does not establish restaurant ownership. Account holders must provide accurate information, keep passwords confidential and promptly remove access for team members who should no longer use the workspace.

Restaurant website enquiries

Restaurant website design is offered separately from the booking subscription. Submit a website enquiry to discuss your menu, photos, business details and design with our team. An enquiry does not create a booking account, begin a booking trial or authorise subscription payments. The DineLumen booking system is also available independently of website design, including for restaurants with an existing website.

Business service

DineLumen is offered for business use by restaurants and hospitality operators. Restaurants using the booking system receive a logically separated workspace and public booking page. The account owner is responsible for activity performed through its staff accounts and for the restaurant's use of guest information.

Free restaurant owner community

Restaurant owners can apply for free community membership. Company tax or registration details and restaurant ownership must be verified before approval. Community approval does not start a booking trial or subscription. Members can post, reply and like discussions under their restaurant and owner names. Please keep discussions respectful and do not share private guest details. DineLumen may remove inappropriate content.

Hospitality Profiles and references

Hospitality workers may create a free profile without a restaurant invitation. Self-entered profile information and work claims are unverified. Approved restaurant owners may invite workers to confirm employment records. An invitation does not give the worker access to the restaurant dashboard, bookings or guest information. A record is marked verified only after the restaurant owner creates the invitation and the worker accepts it. Workers control whether their profile is discoverable to approved owners.

Owners must submit only accurate, relevant and professional information about work performed at their own restaurant. References must not contain discriminatory, insulting, retaliatory, confidential or sensitive personal information. Anonymous references and public numerical worker scores are not supported. Workers can view and respond to references and can mark a reference as disputed. DineLumen may restrict or remove a profile or reference while reviewing accuracy, safety, privacy or misuse. Hospitality Profiles are a professional directory and reference tool; each restaurant remains responsible for making fair, lawful recruitment decisions and independently checking information relevant to a role.

Restaurant owners may open and close Team Choice Award rounds for a season or year. Only verified coworkers whose employment overlaps the period can vote for one another. Self-voting, duplicate voting, coordinated manipulation and harassment are prohibited. Votes remain private, results appear after the round closes, and tied winners are allowed. Awards are positive team recognition and must not be treated as an objective performance score or used alone for an employment decision.

Free trial and subscription

Approved new booking-system applications receive a 30-day free trial with no payment card required. The trial begins when DineLumen approves the company and ownership checks and creates the workspace, not when the application is submitted. Community members can separately choose to start their one-time 30-day booking trial; their trial begins when they choose that option. Community access remains free after a booking trial or subscription ends. Existing restaurant accounts continue under their existing access arrangements. The base subscription price after the trial is €29 per month per restaurant. The booking plan includes bookings, the restaurant dashboard, staff access, reports and booking emails. There is no setup fee and no commission or additional charge per guest or reservation.

You can set up your paid subscription during the free trial. Your first payment is scheduled after the free trial, on the date shown before you confirm. The subscription then renews monthly unless cancelled. If you do not agree to a paid subscription, your trial does not automatically become paid.

Subscription sales using Managed Payments are handled through Stripe/Link. Link sends the related billing receipts and subscription emails. Checkout shows the final currency, applicable taxes, total and payment schedule before you agree.

You can cancel through Settings → Subscription & billing, or request cancellation by emailing info@dinelumen.com before your next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period shown in your subscription settings. Your access continues until that date, and the subscription does not renew.

Early access

Early-access features may evolve. Restaurants should verify critical reservation information and keep appropriate operational procedures available while evaluating the service.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful material, or use automated systems to overload its forms or services.

Intellectual property

The DineLumen name, website design, text, software interfaces and product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to evaluate and use the service under an agreed subscription.

Reservation and guest data

The restaurant controls guest information stored in its workspace and must have a lawful reason to collect and use it. DineLumen processes that information to provide the service. Additional data-processing terms will be included in the final customer agreement.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but early-access software may be interrupted or changed. Restaurants remain responsible for checking critical bookings and operating their venue safely. The final customer agreement will define service commitments, support, liability, data processing and termination terms.
